Kerner Haus Enters Serviced-Office Market with Colombo Launch

Kerner Haus Global Solutions PLC has signed a Property Management Agreement with VKM Services Ltd. to operate a prime commercial building at Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 2, marking the first stage of its asset-light expansion strategy. The deal is expected to generate Rs. 12.6 million annually from existing leases.

The company will convert the 300-seat facility into a fully serviced office centre offering ready-to-use workspaces, utilities, internet and maintenance support. Kerner Haus aims to tap growing demand from startups, BPO/KPO operators and SMEs seeking flexible workspace solutions within Colombo’s financial district.

The move comes as the company works to rebuild its financial position after reporting a negative net asset value of Rs. 72 per share in September 2025. Majority shareholder Ekta Global Ltd. controls 63.62% of the company. Kerner Haus shares rose to Rs. 780.50 yesterday, up from Rs. 656.
