First Flight from Kazakhstan Arrives with 182 Passengers

The first Air Astana flight carrying tourists from Kazakhstan arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday.

The aircraft arrived with 182 tourists and 8 crew members on board.

The Air Astana flight KC-167, arriving from Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan, touched down at the Bandaranaike International Airport at 4:10 PM yesterday.

These flights are scheduled to carry tourists to the island twice a week until March 31, 2026.
